Eight of our new or newish to bowling players took part in the Paul Heafey Memorial Cup on Tuesday 6th of September.
The match was played by Jenny Bankier, Irene Park, Melv Warner, Peter Hughes, Chris Roberts, Tony Soper and Jeff Quesnel.
We were one short due to a late withdrawal so Keith Brooks thankfully volunteered to help to even up the numbers.
An 11 end game was played in great spirit, with the odd wrong biased bowl to keep everybody focused.
The final was won by Jenny, Peter, Jeff and Melv and the Cup was kindly presented by Sharon Heafey to the Winners.
A nice comment was made by all at the end to say how much they enjoyed the game as it had a friendly competitive edge.
